Mizzen Web & App Design

Web and Mobile App Design for a Free, Educator-Focused Out-of-School Time Learning Platform

IronGlove Studio Website Redesign

CLIENT: Mizzen
PROJECT: Web App Design
Scope: UX/UI DESIGN, INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE, Front-End Development

Mizzen is a free platform providing K-12 hands-on activities, lesson plans, and learning resources designed to create engaging experiences for kids.

I designed the end-to-end UI/UX for the Mizzen web application, also published on both the App Store and Google Play, in close collaboration with TMinus11, the primary development team, and project leads.

I was responsible for two distinct interfaces: the user-facing front end and the administrator dashboard, taking each from concept through final production. The work spanned information architecture, user flows, wireframing, and UI design, with custom styling in vanilla CSS and the Quasar framework throughout.

A core focus was reducing friction and increasing usability by streamlining navigation, clarifying task flows, and removing unnecessary complexity so users could accomplish their goals with less effort.

Software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Visual Studio Code
Technology: HTML, CSS, Quasar, Github
